1. Education and schooling for children
The education resources ofXi’anare rich. Children of foreigners could attend elementary and secondary schools inXi’an. These foreigners could proceed with residence permit for studying, and complete formalities to attend school with passport in accordance withTemporary Administration Method on Reception of Foreign Students by Elementary and Secondary Schoolsby Ministry of Education. 2. Medical services inXi’an
Xi’anhas perfect medical care network, and its comprehensive and specialty hospitals spread in each administrative region. Foreigners could have access to medical services in the adjacent hospitals. While in a hospital, a foreigner has to proceed with out-patient registration with “passport” or other certification before going to the clinical consulting room. The medical staff would conduct various diagnosis and treatment depending on the state of illness.
Emergency patients could dial “120” and “120” emergency center would send a van to transfer the patient to the nearest hospital or designated hospital. Preferential emergency medical treatment will be offered, and patients of special conditions will be otherwise arranged. Fees for outpatient services and emergency treatment registration as well as various treatment fees shall be charged according to relevant provisions of pricing authorities.
