In April last year, with the efforts of Xi’an Foreign Affairs Office, Hongkong Hantec Group donated a Hitachi ZX60-5A excavator to Xiyuanyu Village, Huaxu Town, Lantian County. In August of the same year, the village firstly signed a lease agreement with another company, getting its first revenue of collective economy.

2021 is the first year of the transition from consolidating poverty alleviation outcomes to achieving rural vitalization. The resident work teams dispatched by the Xi’an Foreign Affairs Office and Xi’an Bureau of Finance in Xiyuanyu Village have devoted themselves to promoting rural revitalization. On September 24, with the efforts of the resident work teams, the Xiyuanyu Village Joint-Stock Cooperative and Shaanxi Lianchuang Brothers Building Decoration Co., Ltd renewed the excavator lease agreement as planned. The officials of the Xi’an Foreign Affairs Office, Xi’an Bureau of Finance, the Government of Huaxu Town, the Committee of Xiyuanyu Village, and the representatives of the company attended the signing ceremony of the agreement.

After the signing ceremony, everyone discussed the industrial revitalization, especially the industry fitting local conditions in Xiyuanyu Village, which is the top priority of rural revitalization. They agreed that the current tasks are consolidating poverty alleviation outcomes, strengthening the dynamic monitoring of any trends indicating a return to poverty, and fighting against poverty. In addition, the village is encouraged to make full use of its advantages to plant apricots and cherries to promote its revitalization.
