To continue to implement policies of helping villagers seek jobs, increase their incomes, promote the point-to-point employment of those who have emerged from poverty, the resident work team in Xiyuanyu Village coordinates the foreign affairs resources of Xi’an Foreign Affairs Office, publicizes the employment channels of working abroad, provides the job information about chefs, nurses, factory technicians, decoration and construction workers. Measures have been taken to promote the employment of the households who have emerged from poverty and expand the employment channels for villagers.

The villager Mr.Chen has worked in Xi’an and in 2021 he visited the resident work team and said he was eager to work abroad after knowing the information of working overseas publicized by the resident work team. The resident work team selected the sophisticated overseas labor intermediaries and gave the customized skill training for Mr.Chen. After one month, he passed the video job interview, the skill test, and was hired by a company in Singapore and signed a 3-year labor contract.

The resident work team told Mr.Chen and his family about the consular protection before he went abroad. When Mr.Chen started to work overseas, his family paid a special visit to the office of the resident work team, expressed their appreciation, and talked about the current situation of him.
